I'll tell you quixckly what's happened these past few days cause we're leaving in about 10 min...
On the 29th, Uncle Gary and Aunty Pauline took us to the beach. It wasn't sunny but that didn't stop my sister from attacking me and pushing both of us into the water WITH OUR CLOTHES ON!
The rest of the time, I spent collecting shells on the beach.
The 30th, Uncle gary took me to the State Library of NSW to do research for my Extend Essay, so I am now a proud member of the New South Wales State Library ^^. Sometimes it pays off to have an uncle who's an IB teacher ;). We went to my cousin Andrea for dinner and about half the family was there. We had a very good time. Me and my sister spent the night there.
The reason we did that was that on the 31st, we wento to the beach and it was so warm. We went early in the morning. It's a lovely day so far and we're going to HArbour Bridge (well, not litterally) to see the fireworks! I'm bringin my cell so I can tape it all! Hopefully!

Soft Aussieland...
Yesterday was really cool. I really loved the jetboat, and the IMAX-theatre was AWESOME! We watched Batman. Sydney apparently has THE LARGEST IMAX-screen in the WORLD! It was truly amazing, and it really acchived the IMAX-effect. Before that though, we went to the Wildlife park in Darling Harbour. It was nice. I enjoyed it alot.
Today was a lazy day. First I got upo and had breakfast, played some Wii, took a shower and then we were heding for the shops! I was trying to find the complete Twilight-series,but I could only find three.... we're going back there so I might get those three and then the other one later on.
When we got home. My sister and I sat outside in the sun for a while before having lunch (I wasn't hungry at all) and then I tried to read Selling Crack In El Barrio.... did abbout 1 pg before I had my sis do a french manicure on me ^^
After that, we wen't to my cousin Andrea's place and me and my sis spent the evening there while mom and aunty Pauline and uncle Gary went to Aunty Trudi's house for dinner. Andrea, James, me and my sis all played Wii ,most of the time. I kicked ass in Bowling, but that's about it :P.
Only just got home a little while ago. I had a good evening.

Oh the third day of Christmas...
1st of all, JOS! CONGRATULATIONS! GRATTIS! JAG VET INTE VAD JAG SKA SKRIVA! MEN GRATTIS!
2nd, I couldn't write very much about the bridgeclimbing day, but as I said, the climb was amazing. I could hardly believe I was doing it ^^. As i said Michale Weatherly had climbed it as well (for all you non-NCIS peopole out there who doesn't have any idea on who is playing who (or hardly know anything about the show) Michale Weatherly plays Special Agent Anthony "Tony" DiNozzo) . You had to wwar this extremely nice-looking gray jumpsuiots (I think they are called that) and then the actual climb is about 2 to 3 hours long (can't remeber exactly) but if you come to sydney, you've gotta do it! I assure you it's worth the money (I know I didn't actaully pay for anything myself but I really liked it and I would guess it was worth the money)
Afterwards, we went to this resturant called "Pancakes on the Rocks" which is a very nice restureant (I think it was very cozy) in part of Sydney town called The Rocks. It's very close to the Bridge and they had the best Caesar Sallad I've ever had, and their pancakes are really delicious.
Me, my sister and Aunty Susan went home with Drue and Michelle after that, in their car.
on the 25th, we started the day off with a delicious late breakfast that turned into a Brunch. After that, everyone got a few presents, and then we had to get ready for the evening, when everyone was comming for Dinner
We had a nice dinner. Drue, Sarah, Lisa, Lisa's husband John, their sons Lam and Aidan, Uncle Howard and Aunty Susan, my cousin Lachlan, Me and my sister, Mom, Aunty Chris,Unncle Andy, Nan and my cousin Melissa were there for the Brunch (I'm sorry if I left anyone out! it was not intentional if that was the case!) and then Sarah's boyfriend Brett, my couins Andrea and her husband James, uncle Gary and aunty Pauline, aunty Trudi, Uncle Paul, my cousins Dean and Scott and my 2:nd cousins from Melbourne and Aunty Patty (nan's sister) and some other peopel came for Dinner. It was a nice dinner. I didn't eat much, but it was nice. I like to have people around me.
Later on, Uncle Warren came from Melbourne, and we all got the rest of my presents. I got so spoilt, I can't believe it. My uncle's girlfriend came from somewhere up norht, and HE PROPOSED TO HER! Unfortunately I missed the proposal itself, but I heard about it about a minute after. I was too busy playing with the kids. I spent most day running after kids (or so it felt like...IO played with them when everyone was at the house anyway.
Later on, Lachlan almost fell asleep in my lap, so I took him to his father who put him to bed, and then me and my sister left with my cousin Andrea to go to her and James' place. James also went with us of course. We spent the night there, becasue guess what we were doing today!? (today being the 26th of dec. or Boxing Day). We went to the beach! It was soo nice! I'can't believe that we're at the beach! It was so nice in the water, and it was sunny and warm and I swallowed two ton of salt water (despite the fact that the name of the place was called "freshwater" the water was very salty). Andrea's friend was there as well, with her daughter. She was so adorable, After we had been there for a couple of hours, we all went home to their place and took a shower before going over to Aunty Pauline's house, where we spent the rest of the afternoon watching TV and playing with Andrea and James' two dogs named Toby and Max.
We got curry for Dinner. I love Curry, but I wasn't hungry at all! I was really sad about that...
Andrea and James joimed us for dinner before headding back to their house. Their house is really nice actually. They had IKEA stuf, which I think is rather cool (It is, after all, from Sweden) , and I can't believe that it's rather big over here (or so it seems anyway).
Then we spent the evening playing Wii which was fun. I beat everyone who played against me, in Bowling. :P Yeah I know it's not much to brag about but still.
Gotta go to bed now though!

So This Is Chrstmas...
This was a slooooooow day. We basically did nothing. I was watching a Simpson-marathon with my uncle Andy and then me and my sister went up to the small shoppingcentre, which is a 5 minute walk from here.
In the afternoon, we went to a mall not too far from here. I don't remeber the name of it though, but it was small. I didn't get anything from there. Then we got home and I did absolutely nothing for a while. Later, I went on the internet on my phone and I got a message saying I had used up 4000 SKR! How on earth did I manage that!? Ah, well.... can't do anything about that now.
My uncle Howard and his wife (my aunt) Susan and my cousin Lachlan came at 11.30 pm. Lachlan is only five so he had to go to bed rather quickly. They have come from Kalgoorlie so they're in a different timezone than we were.
It is very fun to tease uncle Howard. He's so funny.

Summer Lovin'...

The main thing that happened today was that me and my sister cooked dinner =) We did a dish with chicken and a sort of baked potatoe and some salad to go with that, and for desert, we did "Kladdkaka" which doesn't exist in the English world..... Tung is leaving tomorrow so this was a farewell dinner =)

Tung left today...poor guy didn't want to leave! anyway, after leaving him there, we got McDonald's for lunch.... I got a Happy Meal cause I wasn't tht hungry, but I didn't get the toy :(...... ah well, That's life!
Later, we went to the beach and it was very nice and the water was warm :) (I can't believe it's december and I went swimming in the ocean!)
After that, when we got home, I realised I had a ton of sand in my hair, but I couldn't get it out! no matter how much I tried!
For dinner, They made me eat fish! I don't like fish that much.... fishsticks are allright every once in a while, but I didn't like this fish that much....
I went to the grocerystore, to get a note pad, around 7 pm, and apparently I was gone for a long time (about an hour) and by the way mom was acting when I got back, you would th9ink I was 5 and had gone into the city by bus on my own... May I just remind everyone that I'm almost 18 and have never once gottten lost!?
Guess what else I did yesterday? I watched BONES with my nan! She's like 88 years old! She loves crimeshows and stuff, but anyway! =D
The rest of the evening, I spent watching TV.... nothing exciting.....

Just another day
Sorry I didn't post last night (yes, I know I posted one today that was dated a few days back, but I was almost finished with it and had made a draft of it, but I didn't have time to finish it that day and I wasn't on the computer last night, at all!)
Didn't do much yesterday morning; Stayed at home, watched some movies with Tung (the exchange student), had noodles for lunch and then my cousin Drew swinged by with his girlfriend Michelle. She was heading off somewhere (I think it was to her parent's) and Drew didn't have anything to do, so he wanted to take us shopping! Me and my sister and Drew went in to the city. He took us to this shoppingcetre called Broadway ^^ and there me and my sister found a christmas-present for mom (Midsummer Murders (the Brittish crime-movie thing) and I found a gift for Jos (I won't put what I'm getting you, Jos, cause I'm pretty sure you read this blog :P) an Drew found some shoes for Michelle.
Later in the evening, me, my sister, uncle Andy and Tung watched Kung-Fu Panda, and then at about 9 PM we went fopr a walk and played "I spy", which I found really funny cause noone could guess my last two words. Then we watched "The Happening" I found it scary, despite the fact that I've seen it before, and uncle Andy said he didn't find it scary at all... I didn't really get that. I think I talked a bit too much during the movie as well...... ah,well.There's nothing I can do about it now though :P. I fell asleep in the couch after that, so that's why I'm writing now.

Happy Birthday To You...
Today was my cousin Sarah's 22nd birthday.
Didn't do that much during the day. Nan made us lunch and we watched some movies. Mom and aunty Chris was at the airport collecting one of the bags ( it wasthe Green one (mine and mom's) that had my cellphone in it. THANK GOD!) so I was happy for the rest of the day, though my sister was angry and upset most of the afternoon (she even yelled at me, which was totally not my fault in any way) but of course I understand she's upset.
Later on, my cousin Lisa came with her sons for a little while and the my cousin Melissa came over to say hi and change before we went out. I haven't seen her for ages, so it was really nice to see her again. Lisa and the boys went home so Lisa could change before comming back. My cousin Melissa managed to get sis in the shower and change before we went out (she wasn't too keen on comming since her bag was still missing), and then my cousin Sarah's boyfriend came to pick us up. We ended up having a great time (My couin Lisa (who is the oldest one of all the cousins) said "pick whatever you want to drink. if you want a Moctail, that's the non-alcoholic ones, have a Mocktail. If you want an alcoholic one, have one and don't tell your mother....or my mother because then she'd never let me take you guys out again!" maybe it was one of those 'you-had-to-be-there' moments, but I thought it was funny.... Me and my sister didn't have the alcoholic ones though ^^
After that They dropped us off at home and nan watched some TV with us before aunty Pauline and uncle Gary came by (they had been out with mom, uncle Andy and aunty Chris to look at the lights we had looked at the day before) and me and my sis got a T-shirt each and a singlet (I think that's the word for it) as well.
My sister has been teasing me for about two days now. I ACCIDENTALLY got a really aussie accent when I said 8.30 (the accent was on the .30 part) and she's been copying my accent and everything since then! It's soooooo annoying!

Just Hear Those Sleigh Bells Jingel-ing Ring-ting-tingel-ing Too...
Sorry for not updating last night. I was really tired and fell asleep in the couc, and when Aunty chris woke me up, I could barely get up to my bed without falling asleep in the staicase. My sister is pushing to get me to go in the hot-tub with her (which I won't, but I have to go outside and keep her company) so I'll just briefly tell you what we did last night.
We got alot done yesterday. First we went to the mall. where I got this really lovely white dress (very summery and light) for 20 AUD (about 100 SKR and about 7-8 Pounds (I think)) I absolutely love it.
When we got home, my cousin Lisa came by with her youngest (Aidan) so that aunty Chris could look after him while we went shopping, but we never did. Instead, my cousin drove me and my sister to the airport and helped us look for our lost luggage, which was very kind of her. The suitcases weren't there though, but we know that one's arriving today (where the other one is, we don't know but it's probably still at Heathrow, and apparently they have litteraly millions of bags there). Mom and aunty Chris are going past the airport to pick it up...hopefully.
After no luck at the airport (but at least we went, which I think put a bit of pressure on them, as well as that now we know it isn't there), Lisa took me and my sister to "Big M" (That's what Liam (her oldest) calls Mc Donald's) and then, we drove back to her place and she phoned Heathrow Airport and got this guy to promise to go through the luggage there and see if they could find the other bag. We still don't know if it's there or not, but still.
When we got back to aunty Chris', her phone wasn't working so she had to go to Westfield mall and fix it, and Lisa had a birthday-party to go to (which she would be a bit late to as aunty Chris was going to watch both Aidan and Liam (who was at pre-school) and she came back rather late), and when aunyt Chris came back and Lisa and her husband went off to the party, we had a birthdayparty for her Aisan student who lives here with her (His name is Tung), and her old student, Leo, came by (for those of youi who don't know who Leo is, it's the guy who lived here the last time we came, and he made me and my sister a book which I have in my room at school). we all had a really nice time, and I ended up watching the kids alot, which I don't mind at all because they are so nice and they do as you say (I don't know why they do it, but they do. My cousin has done a good job with them).
A bit after 9 pm, uncle Andy took us to see Christmas decorations/lights. They were AMAZING.
This light-deccoration thing is a big deal over here, apparently, and there was this one guy whoo had coordinated his lights with MUSIC so each time a song played, with each note, with each chord, something new happened! It was AWESOME! After that, we went home and I fell asleep in the couch...
Don't know what we'll do today, but it's bound to be something =) and it's my couin Sarah's birthday today so I think some of the cousins (including me and my sister) are going out to dinner tonight so I might not write until tomorrow morning again, but we'll see.

We got alot done yesterday. First we went to the mall. where I got this really lovely white dress (very summery and light) for 20 AUD (about 100 SKR and about 7-8 Pounds (I think)) I absolutely love it.
When we got home, my cousin Lisa came by with her youngest (Aidan) so that aunty Chris could look after him while we went shopping, but we never did. Instead, my cousin drove me and my sister to the airport and helped us look for our lost luggage, which was very kind of her. The suitcases weren't there though, but we know that one's arriving today (where the other one is, we don't know but it's probably still at Heathrow, and apparently they have litteraly millions of bags there). Mom and aunty Chris are going past the airport to pick it up...hopefully.
After no luck at the airport (but at least we went, which I think put a bit of pressure on them, as well as that now we know it isn't there), Lisa took me and my sister to "Big M" (That's what Liam (her oldest) calls Mc Donald's) and then, we drove back to her place and she phoned Heathrow Airport and got this guy to promise to go through the luggage there and see if they could find the other bag. We still don't know if it's there or not, but still.
When we got back to aunty Chris', her phone wasn't working so she had to go to Westfield mall and fix it, and Lisa had a birthday-party to go to (which she would be a bit late to as aunty Chris was going to watch both Aidan and Liam (who was at pre-school) and she came back rather late), and when aunyt Chris came back and Lisa and her husband went off to the party, we had a birthdayparty for her Aisan student who lives here with her (His name is Tung), and her old student, Leo, came by (for those of youi who don't know who Leo is, it's the guy who lived here the last time we came, and he made me and my sister a book which I have in my room at school). we all had a really nice time, and I ended up watching the kids alot, which I don't mind at all because they are so nice and they do as you say (I don't know why they do it, but they do. My cousin has done a good job with them).
A bit after 9 pm, uncle Andy took us to see Christmas decorations/lights. They were AMAZING.

You'll have to wait...
No suitcases today either! I'm getting reeeeeally upset with it all cause I have MY PHONE in there! MY PHONE WITH ALL THE ADDRESSES! So you'll have to wait for the postcards...since I'm unable to remeber each and every one of your adresses in my head....
Anyway, today was rather nice, despite the fact that our luggage is still missing...don't see what's taking them so long...
We went into the city (by train) and our cousin Lisa came along and brought Liam and Aidan along. We had do go and pick up some compensation-money for our lost luggage from the Quantas-office in the city. Aidan was extremely quiet most of the time, except for the times when there was lights involved (in which case he flickered his arm, shouting to get attention, and then when he had managed to get it, he would point (a bit wobbly) towards it and say "iiiiiiiiiiiith" (or something along those lines) while Liam was chatting away. He's a little chatterbox, but it's so adorable, you wouldn't believe it. They both are.
We went to McDonald's for lunch this time, and it was okay. I got really full after that, and would rather not have moved around that much more after that, but we had to take the train back. Unfortunately, it was the wrong one (surprise, surprise) and we had to get off and get on another one, and then get on another one to go back one station (their railroad-system reminds of a subway-system, and the train we were on wouldn't even pass our stop).
After that, my aunt Christine, mom, me and my sister went to our aunt Trudi's house cause she had some clothes for us (so we will probalby survive anyway) and then we went home and I almost fell asleep. Almost. My sister convinced me to go and play pool with her (which we did) and enjoyed ourselves until we had to leave. We went to my cousin Drew and his girlfriend's (whom I now know the name of =) I hope..... I think it's Michelle) new place, and we all went out for Thai-food ^^ I really like Thai-food....and Chinese food and such :P I went in the same car as my cousin Lisa (who was going with us, but without her children) and we talked alot.
When we got back to their apartment after dinner, we all sat down and chatted for a bit, and Uncle andy started playing Drew's drumset (the electrical kind), but it didn't sound as good as when cousin Drew played. He's in a band (cousin Drew) which is called
Copal Deep (if you want to know a bit about them, check out tehir MySpace Profile (hyperlink) or Google them if you prefer) and he is the drummer so he's really good at it.

The last thing we did today, was to see if our luggage had been found (I didn't know you could do it online, but apparently you can...), and it turns out, our luggage (or at least one bag) was found at Heathrow and left there today, so it will probably, hopefully, be my and mom's bag (cause I have my phone, my sis her camera, and mom has all the presents in there so hopefully it's that one!) YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY!!!!! I really hope it is that one! Fingers crossed.
OOOOOOOH! Before I forget! I had two major, and one mini-major Geek-moments today!
The mini-major was that I saw a twilight poster and I really felt the urge to go and rip it down and take it home with me, but I don't think it would have been appreciated that much, by any one else but me.....
The two major ones were that bad, that I almost started jumping up and down and scream. First, I saw a bus in the city, which said TEMPE which is a suburb in the south or west of Sydney (unfortunately, no one of my relatives live there...) and I was almost on my way to shout it out loud, but I managed to control myself. The other one occured on the way back from Holesworthy trainstation, when I saw a truck (lorry) that said BOOTH in capital letters! I was thrilled by seeimg them ^^

Here we go Again
Okay so we finally arrived this morning after a pleasant journey (mostly becasue I slept almost all the way through it... and they had Video/TV on demand ^^) Great! Finally! and it was nice warm weather and my sister didn't feel sick once (which she usually does when they bring out the hot meals) :) By the looks of things when we landed, things could not barely have been any better.
Then it happened. Like we hadn't had enough difficulties through this journey yet, OUR LUGGAGE WENT MISSING!!!!!! Seriously!? How long does it take to load our friggin luggage on to the next flight!? We were there for TEN HOURS!
So there we are: standing at Sydney airport, waiting fo our luggage and it wasn't even there. Guess if we were a bit....let's go with mad.
Anyway, Aunt Chris was there to meet us at the airport, and it was really warm outside as well, and after we had gotten home to her house (where Grandma lives as well), we all freshened up, and got cooler clothes (cause you can't really wear the same thing that you wear in Sweden in the winters, here in the summers), we went shopping. I bought this lovely dress (I'll upload pic later) and a T-shirt. My sister got a beautiful little black dress and a blouse/T-shirt.
After the shopping, we went to eat at SUBWAY! =) I love Subway-sandwiches!
Then when we got home, I fell asleep on the couch and my mother and sister slept in the room.
I woke up after a couple of hours and found out that our cousin had come for a visit. she brought her two boys Liam and Aidan with her. (I'll upload pics later when I have more time)
We ate at 7 and our cousins Sarah and Drew came to stay for dinner. Drew brought his girlfriend with him (I'm terrible with names...I seriously can't remeber her name) He works at Puma, so me and my sister got A LOT of Puma clothes (which was good, concidering our luggagge is missing >:(! ). Afterwards, Lisa (and her husband and sons) went home, and we sat and chatted and then me and sister went swimming in a jacuzzi ^^ it was really nice.
Well, that's the short version of what happened today, cause I've got to go now, but I'll tell yopu all about tomorrow tomorrow ;)... hopefully

As if things could get worse....
I have six things to say really...
1) Of course I know who you are :) and thank youuuuuuuu so much ^^
2) I hate Heathrow airport for being big and not very fun.....( and for not having more flights to Sydney)
3) Why don't mothers uderstand when you want to be left alone?
4) If you haven't read Chinese Cinderella by Adeline Yen Mah, do so now!
5) Can't the airlines do something if you happen to miss your flight due to problems with the connection?
6) I love to take off in aeroplanes
If you haven't already figured it out, we missed our flight to Sydney because of the fog qat heathrow airport so we left Arlanda 1 HOUR later than we were supposed to. Mom went and asked someone what we would do if we missed our connection and they said that all flights were delayed but otherwise we'd get booked for the next flight. 'Cool' I thought 'at least the other flights will be delayed as well so we'll probably not miss it'
Guess what happened? When we got here (after my sister spent most of the time asleep in y lap, and I almost finished reading her book Chinese Cinderella), they told us to go straight to terminal four, but when we got there, they told us we needed to go to terminal three and talk to them (which in total adds ut to three security checks where we neeeded to take our shoes off :( ) anyway, I have been rader angry ever since I reaklized we would miss our flight and now I'm at Heathrow until 10 pm tonight.....what fun... or not.... I feel like hitting someone.....
Mom could not leave me alone when I was angry (I don't see why it's so hard to realize I need time to calm down on my own)
I love seeing planes take off.... they look light as feathers :) and the feeling when you take of is undescribabale
Don't have many minutes left now.

Leaving on a Jetplane...
Well now we're off... well, tecnically we're going to the arport and staying at a hotel because our flight leavs really early tomorrow morning (I think it was 5 AM or something...how we will manage to get us is beyond me, but we've managed once before, so....), but I won't be able to post before we leave or for the next couple of days either
I am so excited about the trip, becasue we've never been in Australia during christmas before, and I think it's going to be nice and warm :)
Now mom wants to check her email so I have to go...

Keep on trying...
Hey everyone.
This blog's main purpose is to update all my friends on my Aussieland-trip =) I leave in about 2 days along with lovely sister and mother dearest, and there are many butterflies in my stomach now. Actually they feel more like dragonflies crashing against the walls of my tummy, but I'm still excited ^^
This is my...[counts on figers]...3rd or 4th blog, I think, and everyone who knows me somewhat knows I'm terrible at keeping blogs and diaries in general so we'll see how this goes... I'll keep on trying ;)
Finally, I just want to say that you are all very welcome to comment on my entries :D
